Day 01
Arrival & Pick up | Habarana

Warmly welcomed and greeted by our tour guide on arrival and proceed to Habarana. Habarana is a small village renowned for its lush green forests and large herds of elephants. Embark on an elephant back safari through the forests of Habarana or take a jeep safari to the Minneriya National Park to witness the wild elephants in their natural habitat.

Day 02
Anuradhapura & Mihintale

Depart to the historic city of Anuradhapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka. The city of Anuradhapura is in ruins today but holds a significant place among Buddhists across the globe. The Buddhist culture is evident in this sacred city with numerous temples and monasteries. Large processions of devotees, locals as well as foreigners visit this holy city annually. The Sri Maha bodhi Tree, the Brazen Palace, The Twin Ponds and the Abhayagiri Vihāra, Monastery & Dagaba are some of the prominent sites in Anuradhapura.

Day 03
Polonnaruwa & Ritigala

Visit Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka after Anuradhapura. Some of the key attractions of Polonnaruwa are the Parakrama Samudraya (the Sea of Parakrama), which is the largest man-made reservoir of the island, the statue of King Parakrama and the Palace of King Parakramabahu. Later, visit the Ritigala Monastery and Mountain.Ritigala consists of ruins of an ancient monastery, a large man-made reservoir, a river, a bathing enclosure, long walkways, a stone bridge and a dense forest inhabited by wild elephants, bears and leopards. There is no evidence of temples or stupas at Ritigala, instead long, serene pathways can be seen through the jungle that proceeds to the top of the mountain.

Day 04

Visit the magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya built in the year 477 AD. Sigiriya is one of the most popular historic sites of Sri Lanka that narrates a captivating story of a power-hungry king. The frescoes that embellish the walls of the rock, the mirror wall, the water gardens and the cobra head cave are few of the most enigmatic sites of Sigiriya.Overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya

Day 05
Dambulla & Colombo

Proceed to the Golden Temple of Dambulla, also known as the Cave Temple of Dambulla, built in the 1st Century BC. This Temple consists of five caves, and is the largest and best preserved cave- temple complex in the island and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Thereafter, departure to Colombo for a city tour and shopping.Overnight stay at a hotel in Colombo

  • It is not possible to cancel any booking after making the payment. Therefore, payment once made will not be refunded.

  • Visits to wildlife parks will be at client’s own risk. Jeeps available are non air-conditioned and very basic with basic insurance covers
